Magnum Projects  was commissioned to manage the remodelling of the existing building originally built for exhibition spaces. The clients decided to change the use of the property, from a sports museum to Ministry’s offices, taking advantage of the new space. The biggest challenge lay in adapting the building without increasing the space to serve each department within the ministry. With minimal external building fabric modified we altered the internal Architecture to allow for maximum space. MP made the most of the existing original features of the building, such as the central atrium which floods the centre of the building with natural light. Main circulation inside the building was centred around the atrium, with staircases and lift cores retained in the original locations.
